Advancing the Reuse Economy in Monterey Bay Communities

Join us for an overview of the need for, and advancements in, the Reuse Economy. How can the Monterey Bay area position itself to be an active leader in this industry-shift. This event is presented in partnership with Building Business Back and the California Green Business Network.

What You Will Learn

This session will cover an overview of the need to shift to reusable foodware and state of the reuse economy nation-wide. At this event we will introduce leading companies that are interested in expanding their services to the Monterey Bay Area and explain how that can help benefit our regional economy. 

This event will be a mini-expo to accelerate reuse as service within the Santa Cruz and Monterey Area Communities. With service providers and anchor clients in attendance as well as community partners and leaders.

Who Should Attend

This event is particularly relevant for organizations and companies that have a large number of employees and provide meal service to guests, customers, etc. (Schools, Hospitals, Corporate Campuses, Community Meal Providers). Industry leaders from the tourism and economic development sectors would also find value. Finally, environmentally-focused professionals and community leaders interested in advancing tangible actions to meet policy goals and regulations related to waste reduction would be important stakeholders.
