During this conversation, Dan will reflect on key milestones from his tenure, including:

• Growing CFMC’s total assets from $130 million to $450 million and tripling the number of charitable funds from 300 to more than 900

• Increasing annual grants from $6 million in 2010 to $44 million in 2024

• Expanding Monterey County Gives! from $565,000 to $14.2 million

• Growing annual scholarship awards from $175,000 to $2 million

• Opening eight disaster relief funds and leading the COVID-19 collaborative, including coordination of the VIDA Community Health Worker Initiative

• Launching the Community Impact Investment Program to support nonprofit capital projects

• Facilitating complex philanthropic gifts, including the two largest real-estate gifts in CFMC history
